We were delighted to have our first booking at an amazing new venue in Farnham at the weekend. Millbridge Court is run by Kalm Kitchen.
Mared and Nick had been recommended to Eden Blooms by friends who had used us in the past. We love working at new venues and over the last 18 months we've been watching this butterfly emerge from its chrysalises on social media.
For our first visit we created a winter wonderland in the Dining Barn. The tables were covered in rustic, winter foliage rings. Half of the tables were decorated with twinkling candles in hurricane lamps and the other with contoured willow twigs and tea light holders.
The shelves in the Barn had a combination of Soft Ruscus, Eucalyptus and Ferns tied from the pegs with winter white flowers hanging in jam jars.
The whole venue is out of this world and the interior design is outstanding. If you are thinking of getting married this venue is well worth a visit. Both Kalm Kitchen and Eden Blooms were regional finalists in this year Wedding Industry Awards. We managed to get a Highly Commended award whilst Kalm Kitchen won the regional heat for best caterer. Good luck to Kalm Kitchen in the final in January. If the delicious scents floating out of the kitchen on Saturday are anything to go by they have it in the bag!
